Hublyd Overview

Adding your first references is a key step to start using Hublyd. During onboarding, you can add references in tree different ways. All of them are designed to help you structure your data correctly from the start.

Add or Import your first references

Templates are the foundation of slide generation in Hublyd. Before you can generate slide decks from your references, you need to create at least one template.

Once you have references and at least one template, you’re ready to generate your first slide deck in Hublyd.

Slide generation can be triggered from different places in the app, but in this article we’ll focus on generating slides from the Generate page, which is the most common and guided flow.

Creating a reference manually is the best option when you want full control over the data or when adding references one by one.

Public links allow you to collect references directly from external users, such as customers or partners, while also collecting their consent and usage rights.

Once references are created, Hublyd gives you full control to edit, duplicate, organize, and remove them. This article explains how to manage references from the table view and how to modify individual reference data.

Managing and modifying references

Hublyd lets you explore your references using two complementary views:

Table view for structured browsing, filtering, and selection

Map view for geographic visualization based on location data

You can switch between views at any time depending on how you want to explore your data.

Displaying references

Hublyd uses a multi-level permission system to control who can view, create, edit, validate, or delete references.
Permissions are defined at two levels: group level and library (reference group) level.

Understanding this distinction is essential to correctly manage confidentiality and collaboration.

Confidentiality and user access to references

Reference group settings allow you to configure how your reference library works, how users access it, how columns behave, and how data can be displayed, exported, or deleted. From this page, you can manage the main settings of a reference group, including access permissions, date format, column configuration, list values, examples, exports, and library deletion.

Pending references are references submitted by external users through a public reference link. When someone outside your Hublyd workspace fills in and submits a reference form, the reference is not added directly to your library. It is first saved as a pending reference and must be reviewed before validation.

The Chat AI page lets you ask questions directly about your reference library and get AI-powered answers based on your existing references. It helps you quickly find relevant references, compare use cases, identify examples, and generate content from the references found by the chatbot.
